6:30pm-9:30pm (Mondays) – Virtual

This class is required in Missouri prior to a family becoming an adoptive resource for a child.  During this class, participants will dive deeper into the special needs and challenges of children and adoptive families.  Participants will also learn strategies for managing these challenges and ways to seek support.  A virtual link will be provided closer to class start. 

NOTE:  These trainings are currently offered to families specifically sponsored by KVC (all areas) or Children’s Division (in Southwest Missouri, circuits: 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 38, 39, 40, 44, and 46).  If you and unsure what circuit you reside in, this interactive map is helpful in determining your home circuit: https://www.courts.mo.gov/CivicEducation/ourmissouricourts/circuitcourts/#.
