There are many large and small ways you can still lend a hand.
Receive KVC Services
Every person deserves kindness and support. That’s why we’ve been serving children and families for 50 years now. We have made a positive difference in the lives of over 304,000 children and families. KVC provides expert and compassionate care to youth ages 6 to 18 who are experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, impacts of trauma, and other behavioral and mental health needs.
KVC Niles provides day treatment services for youth with therapeutic and educational opportunities throughout the day while they attend Niles Prep, our accredited alternative school for grades K-12.
KVC Hospitals provides residential treatment where youth receive intensive clinical services in a home-like living environment with 24-hour supervision from our highly trained clinicians and staff.
At both KVC Niles and KVC Hospitals, our treatment teams work with each child’s parents/guardians to create an aftercare plan and coordinate follow-up care in their home community to help ensure continued success. We believe that follow up services are essential to a child’s sustained progress, and when possible, we will help schedule these appointments.
Aftercare services might include individual therapy, family therapy/education, specialized educational services, medication management, psychosocial/supportive groups, substance use treatment, attendant care and/or case management services.
