Cheryl Costabile, MA, LCPC, LPC

Cheryl Costabile is Vice President of Residential for KVC Missouri, providing executive leadership for residential programs serving children and teens with specialized behavioral health needs. She ensures treatment environments are safe, trauma-responsive and therapeutically rich while overseeing strategic planning, operations, workforce development and accreditation compliance.

With more than 25 years of leadership experience in human services and over 17 years of clinical expertise, Cheryl has held senior roles across psychiatric treatment centers, residential and school-based programs, statewide clinical service delivery, community mental health and higher education. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, strengthening clinical and operational systems and leading large-scale program development.

Cheryl is a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas and Missouri and holds a master’s degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). She has specialized training in trauma-informed care, evidence-based treatment models and clinical certifications including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), Problematic Sexual Behavior CBT, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is also a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach and Engagement Champion.
