Maggie Bell, MA, LPC
Maggie Bell is the Director of PQI, Compliance and Training for KVC Missouri in Springfield, Missouri. Maggie is a dedicated professional with over 15 years of experience working with children and teenagers in diverse therapeutic settings, including residential and outpatient environments. Her journey in the field began as a residential direct care staff, where she concurrently pursued her formal education and licensing.
In September 2013, Maggie joined KVC, previously known as Great Circle, as a residential group therapist for the Southwest region. Over time, her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals led her to evolve into the role of a residential cottage therapist. Embracing the opportunity for growth, she later assumed the position of Milieu Services Manager, where she played a pivotal role in creating a therapeutic environment for the individuals under our care.
Maggie holds a master’s degree in counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, earned in 2010. Her academic foundation is complemented by specialized training, as she is Phase 2 trained in The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)® practitioner and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This comprehensive training equips her with an understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, enhancing her ability to provide effective and compassionate care to the individuals she serves.
Maggie is driven by a genuine desire to contribute positively to the lives of children and teenagers, utilizing her experience and clinical knowledge to create an environment conducive to healing, growth, and resilience. Her journey in the field has not only shaped her professional identity but has also fueled her dedication to making a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
“I do this work because every child needs and deserves to have at least one trusted caring adult during the difficult times. That one adult can make a difference in what path we go down.”
