Community-Based Violence: Identifying and Responding to Youth Trauma – Virtual

Date: Wednesday, September 27
Time: 12 – 1:30 p.m. CDT

Live Webinar with 1.5 Free CEUs!

Community-based violence deeply impacts the health and wellness of youth in our communities. We can help protect youth and counteract these effects by identifying and providing the tools needed to strengthen their resilience. As professionals serving children and families, it is important to understand the interconnectedness between social and psychological wellbeing, identify the negative consequences experienced by our youth, and respond quickly.

In this training, we will identify the community-based violence occurring in our communities, highlight risk factors for vulnerable populations, and discuss ways we can build resilience in children and communities.
