Springfield Training Room
Together Facing the Challenge is a research-based curriculum for families providing treatment foster care services for a child in their home. While priority is given to current TFC homes, all families are welcome to participate to learn more skills in behavior management and learn more about the TFC program. The core values of the TFTC program include: Relationships are Key, Trauma Informed Practice, Evidence-based Practice, Educational Approach, Intentional Promotion of Physical and Emotional Health, Respect All Aspects of the Individual, Transition to Adulthood, and Professional Growth. Ideally, this class will have in-home coaching to work with family and individuals during the course.
Some classes will meet in person at the Training Room in Springfield Missouri, but there will be an online option each class period. Must attend all sessions to receive the certificate.
