Allison Scharbach
Allison Scharbach is the Associate Director of Child Placing for KVC Missouri. In her role, Allison provides leadership and oversees the implementation of programming in Southwest Missouri, including Licensing, Treatment Foster Care and the Resource Parent Training program statewide. Allison has been with KVC since 2020.
Allison earned her Bachelors in Psychology through Capella University, and is currently working towards her Masters of Social Work through Missouri State University.
Allison has 9 years of experience in child welfare, including time at Missouri Children’s Division before coming to KVC as an Aftercare Coordinator, and continuing to gain experience through the roles of Foster Care Case Management, Licensing and Training Specialist and Child Placing Agency Supervisor before accepting the role of Associate Director. Allison is passionate about ensuring relative placements have the support they need, traditional resource parents are educated and supported to avoid placement disruption and everyone feels empowered and supported to succeed even when challenged with difficult behaviors from youth and families.
