Born at Fort Riley, Kansas, Guy moved to Giessen, Germany as an infant and began his educational journey in the German school system. After relocating with his family to Junction City, Kansas, Guy completed the remainder of his elementary, middle and high school education. Guy went on to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Adult Occupational Education from Kansas State University. In 2005, Guy moved to Kansas City and joined Pinnacle Career Institute, where he served as Director of Education and later as Campus Director. A lifelong learner, Guy completed a doctoral degree from Capella University in June 2019. Guy has taught postsecondary courses at community colleges and facilitated online instruction in the private sector. Education has always been his guiding force and professional compass.
