Kassey Odneal
Kassey Odneal is the Associate Director of Meramec Adventure Ranch for KVC Missouri. She has been with KVC since 2006. Kassey oversees our adventure therapy program. Adventure therapy allows clients to experience the transformative power of nature. Through their experiences at the Ranch, they are able to create healthy connections, build their self-efficacy, and find purpose. These three things (connections, efficacy, and purpose) allow people to begin to grow, heal, and hope.
Kassey earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Evangel University in Social Work and Biblical Studies, followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri.
Kassey first joined KVC as a Social Work Intern on our Springfield Campus. She fell in love with the mission and the kids decided to take on the role of Youth Care Specialist and then Cottage Life Supervisor. From the first time she stepped foot at the Ranch, she knew it was where she wanted to be long term.
“I always knew I wanted to work with kiddos most of the world had given up on and show them they were created by a God who loves them… show them that they are created for a purpose, worthy of love, and capable of great things. I get to do that here… and I will forever be grateful for that privilege.” –Kassey Odneal
