TBRI Introduction and Overview (6 hours) – Virtual

Tuesdays, February 6 & 13
Time: 6:30pm – 9:30pm

Must attend both sessions to receive a certificate.

Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is a holistic approach that is multi‑disciplinary, flexible, attachment‑centered, and challenging. It is an evidence‑based, trauma‑informed intervention that is specifically designed for children who come from hard places, such as maltreatment, abuse, neglect, multiple home placements, and violence, but you’ll see that the principles apply to all children. TBRI® consists of three sets of harmonious principles: Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting Principles.

This is an online class. You will receive an email with a Zoom link 24 hours prior to training from Foster Parent Training Specialist Kathy Haddock.  Make sure you have downloaded the zoom app onto your device and plan to sign in a few minutes early to work through any technical difficulties.

NOTE: These trainings are currently offered to families specifically sponsored by KVC and Children’s Division. If your licensing worker comes from an agency other than KVC or Children’s Division, please contact your licensing worker and/or the organizer below to confirm billing details.
