							My family spent, what would become a week of adventure and healing at Meramec Adventure Ranch during a family Odyssey through the Wounded Warrior Program. Meramec is a top-notch organization run with an unmatched style of character, kindness, genuineness, and compassion starting at the top with Brett and Kassey which is conveyed through to all the staff. The staff ALL love their jobs and know what they do matters, they feel a sense of pride and purpose in what they do, which is reflected onto those they help. The week my family spent with other Wounded Warrior Families was truly life changing for my veteran husband, 11 year old son, and myself. We participated in the adventure barn, ropes course, and horse back riding which helped to teach us communication, trust, and overcoming fears. Along with the Pavillion and Lake, so many laughs and memories were made! Thank you to EVERYONE at MAR who was part of our incredible week and journey. You change lives for the better-what you do matters!

							Absolutely outstanding place I saw people kids and adults conquer fears and in just one week learn to talk to their families better and my son told me he feels more confident and comfortable with who he is. A parent can only do so much it’s places like this that change a child and give them the strength and confidence to be an outstanding, productive and strong adult and member of society. Thank you meramec ranch even the guides are coming away with skills needed to succeed in life truly an amazing and magical place

							My experience at Meramec Adventure Ranch through Project Odyssey was outstanding. but I truly enjoyed everything the ranch had to offer. The beautiful scenery and peaceful environment made it a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.One of the highlights was participating in the water activities, including kayaking, canoeing, fishing, paddleboarding, swimming, and other river adventures. These activities were fun, exciting, and provided great opportunities for teamwork and creating lasting memories with others in the program.The staff was friendly and supportive, and the entire experience was meaningful and memorable. I highly recommend Meramec Adventure Ranch to anyone looking for outdoor adventure, personal growth, and an unforgettable experience in nature.

							Wow!! This camp is truly incredible with a wonderful staff. Yet, most importantly, their mission is what sets this organization above all others. 							Oh how do I begin, first and foremost I would like to thank WWP for making this happen for myself and 7 other Veterans going thru some of the same things that I am going through. I didn’t know what to expect but I am so happy with the outcome that I have gotten from spending a week long Project Odyssey at Meramec Ranch in Steelville Mo. I met some amazing people that I now consider family and definitely will keep in contact with. Brett, Kassey and the amazing staff I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking great care of us Veterans as we are going through some tough times in our lives. Not only did you guys help us, you guided us with your max participation as well to get us over our fears and showing us that we are not alone in our journeys to recovery. I have the upmost respect for the staff at the Ranch, you guys went above and beyond for us Veterans and again I would like to say Thank You all again, you guys offered and delivered something that was so special and valuable that I really and truly needed in my life. I can’t wait to come back for the reunion to be around your amazing staff.

							Meghan B. is our absolutely favorite caseworker. Our kiddo was put on her caseload 10 days after getting the kiddo. At the timed, her supervisor, Angela C., had email us saying that our kiddo’s caseworker was sick and that she would contact us within the next 3 to 5 business days. Not even 10 minutes after receiving the Email Meghan has contacted us immediately. She has been phenomenal about answering all questions as this is our first placement And we have lots of questions. She has been phenomenal about Us asking questions within the children’s division site on role as a regulations.

							Brett, Kassey, Morgan, and Matt are 4 individuals that are always positive. The Teamanator (lanes) to the High Ropes to the Team Development Course to the Adventure Barn and finally the Primitive Skills, it was all well informed and these 4 always make you happy and secure. This place is the perfect team building site in the country. The food they made everyday was better than going out to a 5 start restaurant. God put the best 4 individuals to run this amazing ranch.

							Overall I would say that I have very satisfied with how KVC is handling my case especially my case worker Chelle and the lady who supervises my visits with my son Debbie she is very sweet and kind. They both work with me however they can. I have a great love and respect for both of them and will continue to point people in their direction for help and support.

							If you're having difficulty with your child and don't know what else to do for them, bring 'em to Niles. They will be come back to you a better child. Niles has a team of highly trained professionals that care about your child and will go that extra mile to help their children conquer their fears and control their behaviors by identifying the root cause of their issues, and give them ways to deal with it. Along with the parents input, children receive counseling with skilled therapists. Not only do you get this but your child also receives their educational requirements when they're accepted into Niles. Go ahead and do it, you relax and leave your children with kind andknowledgeable professionals that will turn childs life into something better than the path once traveled. New beginnings come with the children that leave Niles & they're destined for greatness.

							Both our boys who were adopted from foster care and had trauma started the KVC afternoon program to help them learn skills. We have been very impressed with the program and staff. They are encouraging and very knowledgeable about trauma and therapy. It was an answer to prayer and allowed my wife and I a break from the stress and we know the boys are in a great place to heal.

							My child had a mental breakdown that was pretty catastrophic to a point of residency ward. Greg shank and the adolescent ward where amazing at first my kid was scared and defiant but the team was so understanding and calm within 5 months my kid was better and now today I’m taking home my son who is better and full of life. Again thank you Greg shank who I believe is one of the best children therapist you could ask for

							Really good facility and has helped more than any place I’ve ever received help/treatment. Great staff, really clean place, helpful and productive caregiving. They teach communication skills, learning respectful and affective manners, self control and ability to be aware, mindful and insightful of self and others around us. And most importantly help the kids learn how to utilize resources and choose to control as well as contributing patience to set goals to let things take time needed. As well as maintaining the idea to be active in being responsible by having chores and set routines. Workers throughout always act on situations in needs and impact the clients and their views because of their true genuine positivity in they’re methods. They always have consistent, structured groups and activities, constantly making sure the kids have fun. Consistently giving engaging life skills and how to function in an everyday life in the outside world. Full of good energy, love, compassion, kindness, reliable, consideration towards each client, but still holding ground to teach kids to take no for an answer, showing and modeling negative, hateful, disrespectful or ignorant behaviors are not acceptable. Really healthy and effective place. BUT ONE DOWNSIDE IS KYLA IS A HORRIBLE THERAPIST😉
