KVC Missouri is dedicated to providing a wide range of programs and services in St. James, Missouri. Our goal is to enrich and enhance the lives of children and families, ultimately transforming child welfare and mental healthcare in the state. With our comprehensive offerings, including family strengthening services, foster parent licensing, foster care case management, children’s mental healthcare, educational services, and more, we ensure that children can access the level of care they need as soon as they need it. We offer a wide range of services as part of our comprehensive care. With a focus on providing exceptional children’s residential treatment, therapeutic schools and community-based services, we are dedicated to offering personalized care that meets the unique requirements of each child and their family.
Children’s Residential Mental Health Treatment
We offer exceptional residential treatment for children and teens who are struggling with their mental health. Our dedicated team of professionals provides intensive and compassionate care, ensuring that every individual receives the support they need in a therapeutic environment. With round-the-clock supervision, we prioritize the safety and wellbeing of our residents, offering them a secure and nurturing space to heal and grow.
KVC Academy St. James
At our KVC Academies (also called day treatment), we foster learning, growth and healing in a therapeutic school setting. Our team can help cultivate your child’s excitement to learn and reignite the zeal for life, regardless of your family’s circumstances.
Intensive In-Home Services
Our Intensive In-Home Services program is a highly effective and comprehensive approach aimed at empowering families and enabling them to remain safely together. By fostering a nurturing atmosphere, we strive to create an environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Intensive Family Reunification Services
Our Intensive Family Reunification program provides short-term, home-based intervention services to help reunite children in foster care or kinship placements with their biological parents. Our highly trained team strives to foster a nurturing, safe and supportive environment for families to limit disruption as much as possible after a period of separation.
Foster Care Case Management
We are partnered with the Missouri Department of Social Services to provide foster care services throughout the state of Missouri. We offer free screening, training and licensing for general foster care. Additionally, we provide treatment-level foster care for youth who need a higher level of care, with training, licensing and support for experienced caregivers.
