Specialized Intensive Stabilization Treatment for Children and Teens

When a child or teen is facing a behavioral or mental health crisis, timely and compassionate care can make all the difference. KVC Missouri’s Intensive Stabilization Program provides urgent, short-term treatment designed to bring immediate relief and long-term hope to youth ages 6-21.

A Critical Bridge in Mental Health Care

This program offers short-term, intensive support for youth experiencing behavioral or mental health crises. Through comprehensive assessments and individualized care, the program ensures each participant receives targeted support tailored to their unique needs. Collaborative discharge planning begins at admission, promoting seamless continuity of care and successful transitions to ongoing services. For many, our Intensive Stabilization Program is a critical bridge between hospital-based care and ongoing outpatient support, offering early intervention that can change the course of a child’s life.
