Program Details

Sometimes all it takes to create a lasting impact for families is the right guidance and the courage to change.

Intensive In-Home Services is a 4 to 6 week crisis-intervention program designed to help keep families together safely. It is a short-term, home-based, crisis intervention service offering families in crisis an alternative for remaining together safely, and averting out-of-home placement of children whenever possible. The program combines skill-based intervention with maximum flexibility so that services are available to families according to their unique needs.

A family specialist works directly with family members in their home 8 to 10 hours a week for 4 to 6 weeks. The specialist will help the family learn techniques to be successful. Services are family-centered and based on assessed needs. The safety of the children in the home is continuously assessed.
